Our history
Thorsten Remmel was born into the world of concrete.
His father Heinrich Adam Remmel came into contact with concrete vehicles in 1963. He had been successfully selling concrete pumps since 1968.
After graduating from high school and completing a banking apprenticeship, Thorsten joined his father’s company.
In 1996, they jointly founded Remmel GmbH
Close to customers for over three decades
Foundation
The company “Remmel GmbH” is entered in the commercial register. The company is based in Wächtersbach in the Hessian Kinzigtal.
Growth
The company is growing. New building in Gelnhausen: 50km from Frankfurt Airport, close to the highway.
Sales
More than 300 vehicles are sold for the first time. The branches in Portugal and Qatar are inaugurated.

Rental vehicles for concrete mixers and silo trucks. Extension of the office building.

Foundation of RAN GmbH in Cologne
Master workshop
Opening of the warehouse for machines and spare parts in Wächtersbach and the master workshop in Kassel.
New innovations
Production starts again with new innovations from our own concrete mixers.
Zoomlion partnership
Since 2024, REMMEL has been the exclusive authorized representative for ZOOMLION in Germany, Switzerland, the Benelux countries and Scandinavia.
Today, Thorsten Remmel specializes in the sale, rental and servicing of concrete pumps and concrete mixers
